WordPress

WordPress is both a framework and a Theme structure.

Themes are basic ‘skins’ that fit over the various WordPress framework (think basic architecture). Themes allow photographers to choose something they like overall, then tweak the layout and design to have something a bit more personal.

I prefer to work with premium themes most of the time. The reason is that they are updated consistently while many of the ‘Free’ themes are not.

Does that really matter if one plans on changing out their theme on a yearly basis? Naww… that is all fine.

But if you want to work with something over the long haul, it may be very important to have something that will be updated and work with the new features that WordPress comes out with several times per year.

There are many WordPress resources out there, but we will be working with the ones that I think are best for small business, photographers, designers and others in the creative industries.

Let me know what you would like to see added to this site.
